Each team had to rotate through the different challenges. Each challenge had a ‘character’ at the station letting the team know what they needed to do in order to complete that challenge or leg of the race.
Woody (Uncle Mark), Mother Nature (Aunt Pat), Tabatha the Tennis Player (Aunt Nancy), Fountain of Youth (Kristin), Sacaquajea (Gran), Uncle Fester (Paucci)

Here are the challenge routes.

Teams getting their clues and checking the maps (they only had two minutes to study the map and return it):

All the teams lined up.

Woody’s O-K Corral, with Uncle Mark, Teams raced through the pins to find the animals and put them in the correct pins.

The Fountain of Youth had the teams drink from the fountain of youth and then the team had to push the team leader around the fountain wearing a diaper, bib and pacifier – getting younger at each turn.

Umm, Travis…. where is your diaper??

Tennis Challenge had a bunch of tennis balls at the tennis court. Each ball had a letter on it. The team had to find the letters to spell out Conner Reunion and balance it on the tennis racket as they brought it back to Tabatha (Aunt Nancy) to check their work.

Mother Nature (Aunt Pat) had animals hidden in the forest. Each team had to find the animals along with different types of trash. They had to take the trash and put it in the appropriate bucket (plastic water bottle in the ‘plastic’ bucket, etc.). Last they had to identify what each animal eats.
The teams had to wear hats with moss, feathers and ?? all over it.

Can you spot the animals?

Sacaquajea (Gran) cracked me up… leave it to Gran to to take her role very seriously. Jeremy said when Mason saw her, he said, Grrra-uuhh -nnnn! Ha ha ha…. She had all kinds of requirements, they had to build a fire, make music, and paint their faces. If you didn’t see the video posted yesterday, check it out, there is a whole part in there to see Gran’s Sacaquajea’s part.

Uncle Fester told the teams about the haunted Hoola Hoola fish in the pond. They had to put on ghosts costumes and run around the lake making scary sounds. Then they had to feed ??? to the fish in the pond (I think it was a brownie, but I’m sure it was called something else). I could see this one from my post and it was hilarious to watch all the teams run around the pond in their ghost costumes.

The ‘staffers’

Okay… one more post and I will be finished.
